You will have initially been prompted to set your camera’s time zone during the last step of the camera’s setup. If you wish to change your camera’s time zone, please log into your HomeMonitor account and head to the Motion Recording Settings page. You can reach this page either by clicking the ‘Settings’ button on the My Home page, or the ‘Motion Recording Settings’ button on the Camera Manager page.
Once there, scroll down past the motion detection zones to the ‘Camera time zone’. There you can select your time zone from the drop-down list. The website will then confirm the change has been made.
If your camera is showing the wrong time on your camera’s time stamp, the first thing we would suggest is heading to your Motion Recording Settings and temporarily changing the time zone from your chosen time zone to that of another.
Once you have waited for that to take effect on your camera’s Live View, then head back to the Motion Recordings Settings and revert the camera to your original time zone choice.
